The Enrollment Steps

  • You will likely speak to Lindner Learning Center Assistant Director, Erin Lindner Uber, as your first contact into our center. 
  • She will ask for you to send any documentation that helps us determine how we can best help you and your child.  
  • After we read through this documentation and develop a game plan, we ask to meet with parents and discuss a program and mission statement for this child. 
  • During this process we choose a CENTERPIECE PROGRAM to lead the way to addressing our primary goal and define our secondary goal.
  • We document a mission for this student, understood by Lindner Learning Center and parents/guardians. This will remain documented in the student’s google docs.
  • We treat your child as if he or she is a part of our own family. 
  • At times, a child is referred to LLC by a specialist and comes to us after he or she has had a formal neuro-educational assessment.  

Tutoring Schedule

​Students are required to be tutored from a minimum of two 55-minute sessions per week. We are open 8am to 8pm Monday through Thursdays and 8am to 1pm on Fridays.  Students can see us at any time throughout the day.  Some students come before school at 8am and others leave school early and see us at 1pm.  We work closely with each family and school to ensure students have the more productive sessions.  We start all sessions at the top of the hour.  Mondays/Wednesdays are paired, and Tuesdays/ Thursdays are paired. ​Most of our after-school students average two to four hours per week throughout the school year. Many tutoring students increase hours in Summer Academy when the additional stressor of school is lifted. While several of the techniques used by Lindner Learning Center, Inc. were initially designed to be extremely intensive in nature, it is our firm belief that steady gains can be made at a two to four hour per week intensity while still allowing students time to pursue non-academic interests with success.
